Alex started dancing in his home town of Bristol before moving to Leeds to train at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Following this, he toured with VERVE in 2022 where he performed works by Sita Ostheimer, Alesandra Seutin and Akram Khan.

Since graduating, he has worked with choreographers such as Gary Clarke, James Cousins and Vicki Igbokwe.

Alex’s impetus for moving comes from dancing instinctively to find joy and pleasure. He is inspired by social, rave and party settings where dancing is an unconscious reaction from the inside-out.
