Rose Sall Sao

Born in the Netherlands and partially raised in Africa, Rose began her training at the age of eighteen
at the 5 o’clock class, a foundation course at Amsterdam University of the Arts. She graduated from
Fontys Dance Academy and Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2017 where she had the
opportunity to perform in works by Joan Cleville, Tony Adigun, Jens van Daele, Guy Shomroni &
Yaniv Abraham. She is a JV2 Professional Diploma graduate and toured in the UK performing works
by Jasmin Vardimon, Yunkyung Song and André Rebelo. Rose worked for C12 Dance Theatre,
touring nationally and internationally performing duets choreographed by Sally Marie and Tony
Adigun. She danced in KHAOS with Chhaya Collective, worked with choreographer and actress
Isabella Soupart in Brussels and recently finished touring Still I Rise with Tribe Dance Company.
