CALL-OUT FOR COMMUNITY PARTICIPANTS FOR NOTTINGHAM’S LIGHT NIGHT 2025

We are looking to work with 10 participants from across the community who love to dance and are representative of Nottingham’s diversity. The participants will collaborate with Tom Dale Company’s professional dancers.

We are making an exciting large-scale artwork that will transform the iconic Council House in Nottingham’s Market Square for LIGHT NIGHT 2025. This brand new commission will use cutting-edge projection mapping design, motion graphics and filmed choreography to project onto the Council House building.

Requirements: Aged 14+ (no upper age limit)
Must be available for all these four rehearsal dates as follows:
– Sat 23rd / Sun 24th November
– Sat 30th November / Sun 1st Dec

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
SEPTEMBER 2024

TDC is looking for an Executive Director with extensive strategic planning, operational
management, and fundraising experience, to work alongside our Artistic Director Tom Dale.

This is a new, full-time, senior, forward-looking role for Tom Dale Company. The post-holder will work closely with the AD to consolidate current opportunities, seek out new
partnerships and projects and to co-develop the strategic direction of the organisation.
This new position is part of a strategic re-structure of roles and responsibilities for TDC.

The Executive Director will be fully involved in the recruitment and managing of key
specialist freelancers to ensure the smooth running of the company’s administrative and
operational systems and play a key role in delivering the strategic aims of TDC.

Full-Time,Permanent
Salary: £42,000
Office Base: Space 2, Dakeyne Street, Nottingham, NG3 2AR

MUSIC COMPOSER COMMISSION CALL-OUT
OCTOBER 2024

We are seeking a visionary composer with availability this November to collaborate on an exciting new project for Nottingham’s Light Night 2025 – a large-scale projection mapping project that will transform the iconic Council House in Nottingham’s Market Square. This commission is for a 15-minute original score to accompany cutting-edge projection mapping, motion graphics, and filmed dance.

The project is led by Nottingham based award-winning dance company, Tom Dale Company, and Vent Media, in partnership with Nottingham City Council.

Working Draft to be completed by: 15th November
Filming end November
Commission Fee: £3000 to include digital mastering.
